Case in point, Collectiveview’s ORC operators received multiple alerts via viewWork text message dispatching on Saturday evening, notifying that one client’s data center was having high temperature alarms. This triggered alarm by the BAS system linked to Collectiveview’s work order management software also notified our operator of a power outage.
The data center had experienced a power spike which had disrupted the HVAC system and the servers and other IT equipment were on the brink of catastrophic failure. Fortunately, our client had invested in Collectiveview’s Business Continuity Plan (BCP) and via text and email were being channeled to Collectiveview’s ORC operator. The operator was able continue to dispatch, update, and advise our client and the service technicians working on the problem of current and past due alarms in real time during this critical repair operation via cell phone.
